Technicians | Animal Care | Receptionist

 

 

Amy is our Hospital Manager and has been with Cascade Park Animal Hospital for over 7 years. She has a B.S. in Zoology specializing in Animal Care and an Ecology Minor. She previously was a triple language major, studying Russian, German, and Japanese. She has a farm full of animals in the Columbia River Gorge which include a 17 ½ hand horse, 4 llamas, 2 pigs, 60-some chickens, 1 rabbit, several birds, pond fish, 5 large dogs and 17 cats. All of her critters were rescued and have some sort of story behind them. Her hobbies include hiking, mountain climbing, snowshoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, gardening, reading, and being active in her local church group. She is a vegetarian, and believes in using non-toxic sustainable products, and would love to live completely off the grid.


 

 

Heidi is our Business Accounts and Advertising Manager. She moved to the Vancouver/Camas area to begin working with Cascade Park Animal Hospital in May 2004. Heidi has a BA in accounting from Washington State University. Heidi enjoys outdoor activities and wrangling her Jack Russell Terrier, Jim. 

 


 

 

Technicians and Assistants

Amber is one of our Technicians. She is 22 years old, recently married and is expecting her first child in November of 2006. She has 5 cats and 2 dogs. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, rock climbing, fishing, going to karaoke, and spending time with her family.  She loves pets and her job of being able to help them everyday.


 

 

Robi is another of our Technicians and Treatment Supervisor.  She graduated from Apollo College in 2004 and has worked in emergency hospitals and clinics since then. Before this she was a cake decorator for 9 years, but she changed her profession because she loves animals. Robi has 3 cats (Blurr, Maegan, and Cheeto) that were all rescued. She keeps busy with her 2 teenage boys, Keegan who is 14 and Saegan who is 12. She loves to spend time playing sports and video games with her boys and being a mom to all their friends. Her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, biking, barbeques with friends, and going to the beach. Her favorite part of the job is being in surgery.

 

 

 

Rosanna is a Veterinary Assistant and has been with Cascade Park Animal Hospital for 2 years. She has worked in the field for over 13 years and enjoys all variety of animals. Her hobbies include hiking, going to the ocean, long road trips, and gardening. She has two cats and a dog. Her dream is to some day work with primates. Rosanna and her husband also stay busy keeping track of a newly crawling 9 month old.


 

 

Alyssia is a Veterinary Assistant and Animal Care Specialist. She has worked at Cascade Park Animal Hospital for almost 4 years. She currently attends Clark College and plans to become a fitness trainer and social worker. She has spent her entire life on a farm and feels that working with animals is natural. She enjoys riding horses, hiking, rock climbing, boating, camping and theater. One of her favorite things to do is act and perform in plays.

 


 

 

Animal Care

Starlina is one of our Animal Care Specialists. She has worked with us here at Cascade Park Animal Hospital for 1 year, but has been in the field for 3 ½ years. Starlina owns 4 cats, 3 dogs, and 1 Chinchilla. Her hobbies include walking her dogs, reorganizing and redecorating her home, and going bike riding. Her goals include going back to school to become a Licensed Technician or possibly a Paramedic. She dreams of someday living in a big house on a farm full of all kinds of rescued critters.

 

 

Niki is another of our Animal Care Specialists.  She recently started with us in April of 2006, but has been in the field for 5 years. She has 6 cats, 1 rabbit and 1 dog. Her hobbies include hiking, tennis, music, writing, and working in her flower garden. Her dreams would include starting a No-Kill Rescue Shelter and someday writing a book.

 

 

 

Receptionists

Natalie is our Head Receptionist and Customer Service Specialist.  She has always had a passion for working with animals. Natalie grew up in the Bay Area of California and loved to play doctor to all of her family’s pets. She is currently a part-time college student and has been in the Vancouver/Camas area working with Cascade Park Animal Hospital since August of 2005. Natalie and her boyfriend have a mini dachshund, Philly Cheese Steak, and a Siamese, Miss Éclair. She loves to travel and visit with family.


 

 

Lindsey is a Receptionist who has worked in the field for 2 years now. She has been with Cascade Park Animal Hospital since November of 2005. Lindsey has 2 pitbulls, 4 cats, and is very proud of her 10 year-old goldfish. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her “furry children” and being outdoors. Lindsey loves snowboarding, fishing, camping, boating, dancing and singing.
