Dr. Maurine Fritch graduated from Washington State University in 1979. She worked in emergency medicine in the Eugene area for 8 years before purchasing Cascade Park Animal Hospital in January 1991. Dr. Fritch enjoys all facets of Veterinary Medicine and her most current passion resides with our rehabilitation and aquatics facility. Dr. Fritch shares her home with 3 dogs and 2 cats, and she enjoys traveling and reading.

Dr. Tracy Thompson graduated from
Texas A & M University Veterinary School in 2002. She worked at a full service/emergency medicine practice for 3 years before joining us in January 2005. During Veterinary school, Dr. Thompson worked at the clinical pathology laboratory and as a student liaison for a major pharmaceutical company. Her main interests in the field are soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. She has even performed abdominal surgery on a tiger and anesthetized an elephant! In her free time, Dr. Thompson enjoys hiking, sailing, scuba diving, cooking, and spending time with her 2 cats and 2 dogs.
